Program Description and Bio

Description: This webinar is an offshoot of Gen Re's research in the field of Behavior Economics and related project work for 15 carriers. We'll discuss and demonstrate tangible ways in which behavioral economics can be used in application and personal history interview design to improve disclosure, morbidity results, and to help avoid fraud and unnecessary claims.

Bio: Keith joined Gen Re in 2014 and is Chief Underwriter and Vice President, Risk Management for Gen Re's North American Life/Health division. He is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of risk management and related marketing strategies and standards for Individual Life, Individual Critical Illness (CI) and Individual Disability Income (IDI) reinsurance.

He also has extensive experience as a direct company Chief Underwriter for multiple distribution models and executive management responsibility for New Business and Reinsurance Administration departments. Keith is known for his marketing bent and deeply analytical approach to underwriting as well as unique knowledge related to accelerated underwriting, workflow enhancement , design of underwriter and producer data analytics, use of Behavioral Economics in personal history interview and application design, and life insurance fraud avoidance.
