Norm N. Kono (Norm)

Norm's storied insurance career began back in 1962 as an Underwriter for CNA Insurance in Chicago, IL.  Following discharge from the Army and the Fighting 384th Army Band in 1967, he returned to CNA to resume his underwriting career. 
He moved to Honolulu a year later as VP for American Pacific Life Insurance Co.  The parent company, The Hawaii Corp. transferred Norm back to the mainland in 1971 as VP of Administration for Commercial Bankers Life of Newport Beach, CA. 
After 2 years as President of Wespac Life Insurance Co., Norm moved to Plano, TX, where he was Senior VP of Societe Commerciale de Reassurance before moving back to California and a stint with Life Insurance Rx in Sausalito. 
Along came AEGON and a new 15 year career in the Long Term Care industry in Bedford, TX, as VP of Claims and Underwriting.  Norm retired officially in 2004 and moved to Southern California where he now resides.
