Speaker Bio:
Steve Serfass is a partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath, where he serves as vice chairman of the Life Insurance & Annuities Practice Group and leader of the firm's Long Term Care Insurance Team. Steve is a frequent speaker on legal issues facing the long term care insurance community and he is a member of the board of directors of the Long Term Care International Forum. Steve represents much of the long term care insurance community on a wide range of issues including class action and individual litigation, regulatory compliance, product development and policy drafting, fraud prevention, rate increases, privacy and security, and other matters. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. and received his juris doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law, where he was a member of the law review. He lives in Berwyn, Pennsylvania with his wife and five children.
